Studio Route 29 is a nonprofit art studio in Frenchtown, NJ dedicated to empowering artists with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Planted by volunteers alongside the Studio Route 29 artists, the garden serves as a source of sustainably grown food, art supplies, habitat, and beauty for both the studio and the broader community.
Constructed in 2024 with the generous support of a private donor, the garden was developed in partnership with River Harvest, a local sustainability initiative. In 2025, The Good Folk Project is teaming up with River Harvest to assist Studio Route 29 in harvesting, planting, and facilitating opportunities for the artists to engage with the community in meaningful ways, including showcasing their garden bounty at the Frenchtown Farmers Market.
